8.30pm W Bulldogs Best & Fairest 2002 - The Charlie Sutton Medal
Who will win the Western Bulldog's Charlie Sutton Medal for Season 2002? Last year's winner was Luke Darcy.

I am extremely disappointed that the B&F replay was chopped up so much that we only saw the "Highlights". Other teams' B&Fs were shown in much more detail. Why not ours??????? WE paid our money just like everyone else so why shouldn't we get the same airtime? I have steam coming out of my ears at the moment. It might not seem like a big thing but it's just another example of the Doggies being pushed to the end of the line. Apart from tonight's pathetic showing we're not getting many of our games being replayed in the so called season's "great" games either. I know it wasn't the Doggies best year onfield but I doubt that some of the other games being shown were all that memorable.
Not happy, Jan!!!!!!

I have just checked my Foxtel Guide and it seems that all teams B&Fs were originally to be shown as 1 hour programmes. Did this happen? The Bulldogs one was to be shown on Mon 14th at 8.30pm for 1 HOUR and then for some reason known only to them, Foxtel didn't show the Bulldogs on that night but replaced it with Carlton (which was to be at 9.30pm) followed by Brisbane (which according to the programme guide had already been shown the previous Saturday night). It seems that it's only now that 1/2 hour further edited versions are being shown. As stated in my previous post this is not my only beef about Foxtel Footy. During the season it's "Every team, Every game, Every week" but now that the season is over that's not the case. We Bulldog supporters have paid our money too and we expect reasonable coverage of our team, even over summer.

I agree, Larry! I'm pretty sure nearly every other team got their one hour show, not just Bris and the Pies. And if they didn't it's another black mark to Foxtel for advertising it that way.
As I mentioned previously, their off season "programming" (and I use the term loosely) has been unreliable at best. I haven't seen any of our wins as yet replayed except for the Geelong game.
The B & F sped by in a flash, totally chopped to bits. However, the guys looked great (except for Browny's suit! ) and they spoke well. Peter Rohde's speech was impressive and the boys seem to be very positive towards him.
The other thing I noticed was that when Terry's name was mentioned (twice) there was a lot of applause.
If anyone would like to phone the Fox Footy Channel Production Centre and voice their concerns about the programming here is the number: 03 8671 6888.

Lindsay's interview with Leah was the highlight :)
And of course, Charlie was great too
Carlton's went for 1/2 an hour
i dropped into the bulldog shop on thursday, on the tv they were playing the video highlights of the year that were shown on the night, pity it wasnt on foxtel , it detialed all the varios awards given by different groups and individuals. They are also selling jumpers match day ones , these are the spare ones not worn, every player and the emergencies get 2 jumpers, i bought Eagletons Mazda sponsored one for the collection, they are $100 less 10%,. They have been selling for $200-$300 but they are now clearing out , they ones left are for player slike Wiggo, saunders, cross, picken etc, .
