O how sweet it would be but frankly I cant see it happening.
Headland I expect to be in the Dockers colours next year with Chick a very real possiblity.
5th pick and 21st pick for Headland
McPhee >> Collingwood for there 16th pick
16th pick & Toia >> Hawthorne for chick.
How how sweet htat would be

Hawks would propably rather have the little salary cap relief than pick up someone who will play 22 weeks at Box Hill
I suppose you have to aim high if you are going to succeed, but although all the players you mentioned would be nice, I think we may only end up with one.
My temptation would be to use the draft picks as a lever, they may not be as valuable as in past years (poor crop?).
It would appear that CC is playing his cards close to the chest, but he does not want wholesale changes which happened in the "past years".

i just read on the afl site a 3 way deal involving freo bombers and brisbane
freo get headland
freo lose pick 5 and 21 and mcphee
brisbane get picks 5 and 21 and heffernan
lose headland and cupido
bombers get cupido and mcphee and pick 17 i think it was
lose heffernan
i cant remember if the bombers lose n e thing else
this is a possible 3 way deal

From day one I beleived we would get Headland and WCE would end up with Chick.
Getting both was always a pipe dream.
On face value, I think we got the better end of the deal though.

I agree...I think Headland would be the better of the 2 and am happy to see the back of this morning's West :)
