Well are they?
They are my second team. I watch all their games and support them. Just hate them when they play West Coast. It's quite weird actually how for two games a year I hate them with a passion, but the next week I hope they win.

Yes, but that might be because I get so much more exposure to them.
And when you say 'second team', there's a long, long, long way between it and first.
I'd be intersted in Kenny's vote though ;)

We all know they are Kenny's second team (behind West Coast) its just he got so much success in 92 and 94 supporting us he thought he'd go for a second rate side and let someone else in on the glory with WCE;)
Freo are my second team yes

I always say they are, because it p*sses Dockers supporters immensely when Eagles supporters say that.

So true. I wouldn't say I like them. I probably follow their fortunes a bit closer than most other teams in the league since they're local, but its sorta like if they're losing, I'll go for them, but if they've strung a few of wins together, I hate their guts. Of course, that hasn't happened in eight years, so I'm only hypothesising :)
For some reason, not on my own accord, I always end up going for the underdog in games not involving the Eagles, so in recent years I have found myself cheering for Freo A LOT!
But I still hate 'em.

I hate them. I hate their supporters more. But then again maybe I am in denial because I watch all their games.

NO !! I loathe them with a passion. I support any team they are playing. My ideal weekend is a trifecta of : Eagles win. East Perth win and Dorkers lose. I cannot think of any one of their players I would support.

Yep have to go with hating them. I used to hate them with heat of a thousand suns but that was in the early years, now its still hate but with a large amount of pity, laughing and smirking.
On my list of teams their pretty much a tie at the bottom with Collingwood. If they start doing something ridiculous like winning more that one game in succession (:p :p ) the hate may be upgraded.:D :D

We now have Kenny and rfctigerarmy as unofficial eagles supporters, and I'm pretty sure Sabre is just hiding his true feelings.

yes they are, but I hate em. My eldest son supports the ****ers with anchors, so I try to be nice for his sake but we always have disagreements. He is a typical Freo supporter, "we beat the Eagles last time we played them" "mum if we win this game & the Eagles lose will we be on top of them on the ladder" grr. drives me insane!!!:mad:

Some really angry angry people there. Please, do read it all. Some of the crap there would make the most one-eyed collingwood supporter seem normal.

Its pretty hard to hate an entity which most people feel pity for
and cannot help but laugh at. They are, and always will be the
court-jesters of the competition( just look at thier jumpers )
With an every increasing debt and constant lack of success, a few
more " were gonna be so much better next year" seasons, they
might have the pin pulled.

I dont know how Eagles supporters can hate the Dockers....I feel only pity.
How can you hate them when they rarely beat us, they have no success whatsoever and are a second rate club on and off the field.
If they were destroying the competition and were currently going for a 3 peat of premierships and beat WC by 100 points everytime we met, then I would have reason to hate them. But they dont, they lose lots, dont make the finals and are always inferior to my club. I cant hate them, only pity them.

If there's any lesson to be learned from the Francis debacle - you don't brag about your new players until they're doing the pre-game warmup.

Hey, I would like to firstly introduce myself to dockerland.com discussion board. Well this is a great site you have going here, alot better then Fremantles offical one, because yous acutally update it.
Well I'm a mad Freo Docker supporter since 1995, and always will be until the day I die.
Well trade week is one my favourite times of the year. Every year I've got a opion or two, but never have had to oppurtunity to discuss it with anyone.
Well this is my opion on a few docker thing trades, please reply and tell me if you can do it, you probally know alot more than me about the trades and stuff.
Well first of all onto Des Headland, I reckon Dockers should really give up its draft picks for him, because Connoly said they are a developing side, starting from last year, why would you want to bring all new guys from the draft camp into the docker side, each time you bring in one, a experienced player has to go out, why don't they just stick with the players the have now and develop them.
But to wrap up the Des Headland topics, this is what I reckon should be the trade for it.
Draft picks 5 and 21 from Fremantle to Brisbane for exchange of Headland, I reckon that is enough, if its not, your asking for to much.
And besides the topic of Headland, does anyone know any other trades they could happen for the dockers, if so please let me know.
This guy so needs to learn how to spell OPINION.

I can't remember the guys nick, but one of them there actually seems to be pretty quick and accurate with posting up rumours. Hard part is actually finding a piece of news/rumour among all that crap that is written there.
And no, I don't post there or provoke them.

Fair enough, but there is crap written in every forum. You know what to expect from Dockerland so I don't see the point in why you copy the thread, and paste it here for people to read.

I grew an instant dislike for them when they touted us as the Chardonnay set as well as the time when Woosha spoke about a woman coming into his chemist and saying how she supported the eagles since inception but was crossing to the Dorkers.
Talk about bandwagoners.....;)
no i hate them and i can't stand them.
i used to think they were ok until i came across some of their supporters on bigfooty.
now i wish nothing for them but footballing misery ;)

I just dont get it....you know Robots in movies and you ask them to do something human and they say stuff like. "Cannot compute, do not understand" etc etc
That's whats it's like for me.
I just cant compute how people would leave a team they have supported for a new team that is just starting...i just dont understand it.

They're just another team to beat.
Although now I'm living back in WA I find my level of dislike for them rising a little.

Thats funny. In so far as I have a second team it would probably be Brisbane (although I suppose they haven't beaten us by 100 points for a couple of years now).
Don't mind the Dockers though.
