I reckon youd have to offer a lot to shift him this year. Rhodes will give him every opportunity to show something in the seniors this year. That will tell the story. Offering Hunter in trade this year is a sign that we are going to be looking at our young talls to show something.

Most players are tradeable in my opinion, how about Hall for Bowden and we will exchange third round picks ?

I really like Bowden.
I wouldn't like to see him go. Not for a 3rd round draft pick, anyway.
It would depend who Richmond offers aswell. Frankly, I don’t think there would be a suitable trade between Richmond and Bulldogs. There might have to be a three-way trade involved. But, I really fancy Bowden’s chances of playing a dozen games in the seniours in the: Red, white and blue next year!!

Well i wouldn't want to get a richmond player!! It would have to be a three way swap :p And only for another tall....which in the end would probalby not make much sense...

Thats why I sweetened the offer by exchanging third round picks
:)
Do you have a better offer ?

I don't think Bowden will ever be all that good, however I wouldn't want either King or Rogers at all

I can't think of many players the Tigers will trade, which would fit nicely into our side. It's not like they are going to let go of Ottens or Bowden. I liked Tivendale, but that is probably now out of the question. I wouldn't aim to look at the Tigers list in the Trading period. I think we can do better.

I still think we can do better though.
Although, I like that deal. Not sure how it would seem in the 'Eye of a Tiger' though.

Patrick Bowden hasnt proven anything yet, because he hasnt been given a chance, Rhode would be silly to get rid of him at this point in time!!
You could always look at it another way, by saying who would Bulldogs give up to get Joel Bowden? he aint that good.
But if a trade were to be done with Patrick Boden and the tigers then id say someone like Ezra Poyas would be given up.... and of course some draft picks swapped here and there.

I take this too! The guy's like butter and would slot straight in at Richmond!

Would take Poyas. Don't think he got much of a chance either. Can't we give you another Hudson?

Joel Bowden aint that good but would go into your 22.

Let me clear something up.
You are saying Joel Bowden isn't that good ... And you're also saying he is a gun. Which one is it, mate?
And Joel Bowden is a champion. I would love him at the Bulldogs. And of course I would swap brother for brother, but why the hell would that happen? That's just crazy.
Joel Bowden would fit very nicely into your top 3 players.

Shark 69 said that Joel isnt very good. What I was ment to say is Joel isnt very good but would go into your top 22 easily...
Now that I read it I can see where you are coming from. I have got this virus on my computer that when you type something it deletes and adds words. Sorry about that.
PS: If you know the name of the Virus plz let me know so I can get rid of the damn thing

not a champion but a very good player........
On the subject of Patty, I'd like to see him stay and be given a go in the 1's, we've invested a few years into him now lets give him a shot. It'd be a waste to just let him go or trade him for a draft pick or some hack from another club.

Thats a very long memory you have there WB:D
Maybe Rohde will see a natural full-forward when its staring him in the face and play the kid there.

The way Richmond fans treat Bowden is a joke, he is the biggest scapegoat in the league. He may be a bit soft, but he gets a lot of the ball and has great disposal, similar to anothere recently retired Tiger who was hailed as a hero

Let's hope so ... as I said at the time, I'll never be any happier to lose $100. :D

But seriously, I'm willing to change it to a $50 bet on 50 goals if you're up for it.

the only reason their are rumors going around that Patrick Bowden is going to be traded to Richmond,is cause he is Joel Bowden's brother.so I highly doubt it will end up happening.
I would have to agree Joel Bowden isn't a champion (sorry rfctigerarmy),I agree he is a very good player but he didn't have a very good year.
SkARkS_69 I totally agree with every thing you said apart from Joel Bowden isn't that good.

no he hasn't at all which is a shame as he could be a good player.no you can't :p.

I think we are stupid to trade Bowdo! Bowdo is tall, he is young and with a new coach will be given the opportunity to prove himself which Wallace never gave him.
How can we knock any player, or offer to trade any player when they haven't been given a chance to prove themselves.
Give Bowdo season 2003 and i can gurantee you all that you will be thankful we kept him.
