It appears that Heffernan doesn't want to leave his mates at Essendon, to venture up to Brissie so he can improve his suntan. Ok he doesn't want to move, so the Dessie deal has to looked at again.
What about the first two Freo draft picks in a straight trade for Headland?. Brissie will want something, else they miss out altogether.
Are the Eagles still seriously chasing him?.

It will take more than #5 and #21 to get him.
Crows gave #4 and #20 for Carey.
And Hawks #8 and #24 for Everitt :eek:

I have a feeling they may make a move for him, but the WCE wont worry too much if they miss out.
time runs out dockers better get a good player and 2 first round picks becauce the lions will not accept anything less ,so if you cannot it will be back to brissie as he wont play in melbourne

Brisbane have been consistent in this one factor in all the machinations over the Headland trade. We WILL NOT let him go for a couple of scungy draft picks.
This position is based on the premise that Des has nothing to gain by just throwing himself into the draft.
