My first ever post on Bigfooty last year was about bagging South Australia's batsmen apart from Lehmann and Blewett; judging by their efforts in the one-dayer against the Vics and in this match, not much has changed.
It was a poor overall match for Lehmann. Not only did fellow Test aspiriant Michael Clarke score a century but Lehmann was only able to score 45 in the first innings (after being dropped twice), and failed to reach double figures in the second.
Probably his biggest mistake was sending the opposition in, something which the curator Les Burdett was very surprised about.

Yes good tactical move Lehmann. Sending the opposition in at Adelaide Oval is like winning the toss in footy and choosing to kick into the wind with the threat of rain. Darren Berry can thank his lucky stars the Redbacks batting lineup is so insipid otherwise he would have been on the recieving end in the one-day game. Still cant understand how a side can be 1/148 after 27 overs yet lose the game by 8 wickets and 15 overs to spare, not even go close to batting out their overs, give up a bonus point. And ALL this on the Adelaide Oval. Hopefully NSW will bat first on Saturday. At least we will see some runs scored by 1 side (unless Brett Lee plays)
