It seems, that some young players in NSW have been offered contracts with IPL..Warner and Henriques to name two.. what about other states with better credentialed and more reliable players?

Its not a Bais "its a Fact", there are other states that don't get a baggy green with their Blue. maybe every other state should give up playing cricket and just watch NSW 1 play 2.

of course, it has nothing to do with the fact they produce better cricketers

Everyone knows that the best players are victorian, there is just a conspiracy headed by Merv Hughs who wants to be one of the few Victorians to make it in test cricket.

I think some more International exposure will be great for Moises, just what he needs after the injury setbacks he's had to deal with.

Warner will be a gun!

Boscombe Beach more likely. If anything Barry Richards had the best hair in cricket history. Richards and Greenidge, what a treat that must have been.

funny thing about nsw is they dont have the best weather for developing cricketers either. its understandable why there arent many victorians coming through the ranks to become international cricketers because the weather is dreadful in victoria - they'd rather play afl.

it was debated that england for a long time - struggled to find cricketers because the weather was lousy over there, and the english chose football or rugby over cricket because those two sports could be played in the wet. well, nsw gets about twice as much rain as england! (NSWers out there agree with me?) but nsw seem to find the talent

Well we don't get much rain in Melbourne but it's colder sometimes, though I think most people would rather play any sport in chilly weather than stinking hotness.

when we had our marist carnival there was this team from Bulleen (not sure where abouts in victoria that is) - but one of their dads was their scorer throughout the years. They'd be lucky to play 1/2 weekends due to the weather. Heaps of abandoned and incomplete matches. A lot of their junior teams play on synthetic and not turf because of the trouble preparing the pitches.

Ironically we played them in perth and it was raining that day as well :D

Volume of rain is less but it just rains more often.

Glenn McGrath shat all over Shane warne in average, economy rate, strike rate.. more top order wickets.. the works. And he didn't cheat to improve his longevity ;)
