Evan Hewitt has been delisted by the Crows. Tall Key position player. Ex West Aussie. 193cm and 95Kg Age 24. Did well for a time at CHB. Worth a punt in the preseason Draft?

Hack.

I was thinking the same. But we already have so many young talls that I doubt he would even get a game. Could be handy at a team like the Western Bulldogs who are looking for players like him.

I think we might as well pick him up if he's there.

We can't do any harm in picking him up even he doesn't get a game. Put him on minimum wage.

Why waste a trade?

Bad enough we have Harding.....

I dare say he will be looked at in the preseason draft. He's a good size and plays OK without being anything special at CHB. He never quite matched his Kangaroos form at Adelaide.

I reckon he may be worth a punt to bring back home. We probably need talls more than midfielders at the moment, and he would probably get just as much game time as Tuckey or Siera.

If we were to pick him up he'd be at the bottom of the list in terms of our talls, and theyre already fighting each other for games. Not worth it.

No.

Just as we didn't pick up Judd Lalich last year. Good WAFL player.

Hewitt looked good in a Pagan's Paddock environment occasionally, but that's not the way we're going to play at all.

Would probably want reasonable money and if I was the Western Bulldogs, I'd be knocking on his door (anyone over 5 foot 9 is a key position player there).

I would prefer to have one less person on the list and be a lttle bit below the salary cap than have Hewitt on the list.

Best scenario IMHO.

Hewitt has always been a crab.

I've heard some good things about Michael Handby though. Youngish key position player that looked good in the SANFL.

Ryan Fitzgerald is a sad story. That bloke could've been anything if it weren't for injury.

I'd rather see that spot given to an 18yr old youngster than to a 24yr old hack.

Dont want him, theres enough young tall players vying for that same position

No thanks. Would rather keep the space in the salary cap free or get someone who can actually play.

I don't think he is really worth the punt. Has struggled for form and with injury at the Crows, if he comes back to WA may make a good WAFL footballer but not up to the AFL i don't suspect
