I love this cd New Detention i brought it last week and haven't stopped playing it its the biggest kickass album. You want a great cd go out buy this one guys, its rockin my personal fave "Damn Straight" with "Lost Control" next, I know its been out since June 3rd but better late the never these guys are the coolest band in OZ. The songs would go great with some footy highlights.

Yeah they are definitely an improved band! I like Lost Control and Chemical Heart, haven't heard any other as of yet though!
They are definitely growing on me lately. Yet to hear a bad song from them!
Chemical Heart & Rock Show made my day at last years BDO.

It's been all downhill since "A guide to better living" for Grinspoon in my opinion.
New Detention was plain boring if you ask me.

yes, that was pretty good album...
i havent got many aussie albums... but i did d/l that one...

I like Grinspoon, and I'm with BT, am yet to hear a bad song. Good band live as well. Of course none of their songs will ever top "More than you are", great song.

My favorite songs off this album "Bolt cutter" And "Damn Straigh." The album has nothing on "Guide to better living" though.

Agree M29. I like both bands but after seeing Grinners live, I have to favour them. The crowd just goes off. During 'Lost Control' and 'Chemical Heart' I could barely here Pat singing - just the crowd.
Although much of their older songs are better.

Ahahaha... I saw Grinners live at Livid and they weren't as good as I expected, but I still think their album is great!
Grinners live is a sight to see, grab a beer and enjoy the show.:D
