The Collingwood midfiels looks a lot stronger now with the pick up of Woe Woedin.
The rotation skills of Malthouse in the midfiels are enhanced wit this pick up using the 2 forward and half back flanks to rotate the midfielders .
The 8 rotaters of Buckley,Liccuria,Obree,Woe Woedin,L Davis ,Betheras,Clement, and Lockyer look a good bunch.
Add Mcgough ,off the bench and Steinfort ina tagging role and we look well matched up against all opposition ,a bit of development from holland, rhyss shaw ,and some rookies and its gunna be hard to get a game in the 2003 premiership team.
Collingwood was the unknown improver this year, next year will be alot different, opposition coaches will have studied them more and sussed out all their so called rotations.
They got stuff all picks in the draft, got shafted on the Davis deal and have inherited an expensive player who goes missing alot. Cant see where the improvement will come from next year. Think the team played to the max this year, when the rest improve, look for Collingwood to drop off a tad. l expect them to finish around the 7-10 spot.
Wrath
reasonably fair call wrath although im hoping for a 4-5 finish(regular season anyway). coaches were working out how to play us by about mid season this year and we will probably play a similar style for the next few seasons at least. it worked, theres no real need to drastically change it. the difference next year will be our scoring return from our midfield. even last year with our vast improvement, at crunch times we needed bucks, lica, burns and obree(when he played, mcgough etc otherwise) in the guts to take control. mckee would hold his own around the ground but rarely won more than half the ruck taps yet collingwood finished well up on the centre clearances for the year. with the addition of woewodin and improvement in didak and mcgough, players like bucks and burns will be able to spend an extra 5 mins a quarter at half forward. i'd expect bucks to have his most productive goal kicking year in '03. our defence got us so far this season and hopefully it will stand up agian next year but i think our new weapon will be in attack. can only win a game if you score more - teams might have trouble with it if we get a decent injury run.
Sniffer - You can add Burns and Freeborn to the rotation. That makes 10. Opposition coaches, no matter how much they have studyed, will find that very hard to deal with. It enables MM to always have fresh legs in the middle and even if one ot two are tagged out of the game it still leaves plenty of options.
Clement doesn't ever start in the square or play on-ball much, but Didak does a bit. We have a good quantituy of on-ballers, with a couple of them kept fresh on the bench for the last quarter.

Clement goes in there when he follows his bitch - James Hird.
