View Full Version : Vic V Tas
Does anyone know the up to date scores?
Scores are covered live on http://www-aus.cricket.org
Tassie are 0/50 chasing 366. Perhaps a generous declaration from Warne?

I went to that today. I had to go at around 2.30, and then Victoria seemed well in control, now looking at those scores it seems Tassie have the upper had! :(

Looks about even money at the moment (which is more than Tassie deserve). And if Inness can't bowl tomorrow that probably tips in the Tigers' favour.

I would say the Vics still easily have the upper hand, however we shoudl have tried to put on another 50-60 more. We obviously just wanted to get a crack at them for a while today
Tasmania 2 for 102 in their second innings (30 minutes prior to lunch) - Both openers are out
Anyone know what happened to Matty Inness? Only 1.4 overs this innings.
Vics are gonna miss him!
If Tas attack it'll give Victoria a chance, it looks as though they're taking fairly easy at this stage.

Tassie are 5/150
Looks like a smart declaration :)
7/175 now but Tassie have got their best still to come,Jurgensen!
I mentioned Harwood's great debut for Vic in another thread but what about poor Cunningham of Tassie also making his debut. Faced a total of 3 balls in the match for 2 ducks! I think he's supposed to be a batsman but wasn't in long enough to tell!

Vics won by 159 runs
White took 4-51 and Warney took 3 for 54
Victoria by 159 runs!
Warne 3/54
White 4/51
The G taking some turn ya reckon? ;)
Didn't miss Inness in the end anyway.
A smart attacking declaration from Warne, I like his style!

Hamstring problem. No idea how long it might keep him out (if at all?).

They're saying about 3 weeks
First and last time we will probably see Warne captaining Victoria this season

Cunningham? Debut?
If it was his debut I would be very surprised. He used to play with the Canberra Comets in the old Mercantile Mutual Cup before it folded and he made his way to Tassie.
The ACB were looking out for you Vics. They must have felt sorry for you after your pathetic season last year ;) After all surprising how Victoria can play Warne and we can't play Ponting  By the way I am joking so don't get aggressive.
Watch out for Tassie after Christmas, they just need some time to thaw out :)

It was Cunninghams first class debut, he has played one day cricket as you said
