View Full Version : Warne - should he come back?
I say yes.
Would take wickets, set aggressive fields, motivate the team and if Ponting doesn't like it he can retire. He could still bowl for another 5 years.

He could, maybe he should, but he won't.

no. its time to move on and rebuild, it wouldnt suprise me if the send an sos call out to him for the ashes though
No. Rebuild, if it means a few years of pain then so be it.
We had a decent decade or so. :thumbsu:
No.
It would achieve little bar feed Warne`s already considerable ego.
And whilst it may help with short term success, it is hardly a step in the rebuilding process that so many seem to be advocating.
It would also hardly be fair on those doing the hard work in the Australian domestic season to have someone waltz straight back into the national side in such a fashion.
In any case, how long would Warne hang around for if he did play? He would be 40 next year by the time the Ashes come around.
It would achieve little bar feed Warne`s already considerable ego.
He has to have the biggest ego in all of Australia. I admitt that he is a amazing bowler but he isnt a very good human being.

His job is done. Just cop the form slump on the chin and appreciate the dominance that we've enjoyed over the last 9 years.
Yes and the WIs should bring back ViV Richards and Clive Lloyd .England Botham ,Pakistan Akram etc etc .
