the recent back to the future thread where people posted things about time travel in the movie that annoyed them/made them laugh and it got me thinking about other stuff in movies that didnt make sense to me or annoyed me in that same way.
the other day while watching 'the man with the golden gun' during the final scenes on scaramanga's island, why does he have only 1 technician running the solar power panels and stuff? surely something of that size would need more then one person to run and maintain.
well i thought it was funny anyway

The Spider-Man movies. He's this college student with no money whatsoever. So who the hell is making this perfectly sculpted, skintight, 3D webbing suit for him? And who keeps fixing it given he trashes it every other week?

I still can't work out the bible in Mission Impossible.
The Spider-Man movies. He's this college student with no money whatsoever. So who the hell is making this perfectly sculpted, skintight, 3D webbing suit for him? And who keeps fixing it given he trashes it every other week?
Also, notice the different cut in his suits. When he's wearing it underneath his regular clothes the suit has a very low neckline, as demonstrated when he opens his shirt while running to change into Spiderman. But each time he pulls off his mask the neckline of the suit comes all the way up to his adam's apple.
Gremlins.
With the gremlins multiplying when in contact with water, wouldn't they be multiplying willie-nillie when running around in the snow ??
In the National Lampoons Vacation movies, there is no continuity in the ages of Rusty and Audrey, the son & daughter. In the first movie, the kids seem to be about the same age (possibly twins). In the European Vacation movie, Rusty is older; but in the Christmas Vacation movie Audrey is the eldest. And in the Vegas Vacation movie, the kids appear to be about the same age again.
For single movies, two (from movies that I like) are from The Omen and Poltergeist. In The Omen, an infant Damien is substituted for the newborn son of a wealthy Ambassador and his wife (this child is killed behind the scenes). The man arranging the "adoption" tells the Ambassador that his son had been stillborn, and that taking the orphaned child would be the best solution for the Ambassador's wife (who was unaware her child had died). Wouldn't it just have been simpler to do a swap without anyone knowing? What if the Ambassador had refused to accept Damien?
In Poltergeist, the young son is absolutely terrified of a large stuffed clown, even at the beginning of the film before the ghosts arrive. So where was the clown? Sitting in a chair facing the child's bed, with a window behind it with moonlight shining through. Surely if the kid was so terrified of if, the clown would have been moved into a closed or another room?

How does I am Legend get made with so many plot holes?
And why did he make so many bad choices for an educated person?
Whilst a little off topic I did have to wonder at the programmers for the late nite viewing last night.
Pearl Harbor went to an advert and we had about 5 "Text **** to some number and get Russian nymphos on your mobile" ads in a row and then for some unbeknown reason they throw in a "Thomas the tank engine" ad followed by a few more sex ads.
Weird continuity.
