did anyone see those massive bats during the cricket show that they are planning to use in an up and coming 20 20 match? i did a quick search but couldnt find any further info about them. but will they be for sale to the general public? i want one.

What massive bats? That 4 pound one was a joke. The double sided one isn't though, that should be interesting.

oh sorry i recived the information second hand and thought that there were massive double sided bats available. thanks for clearing that up.

When you say massive, what do you mean? Weight? length?? Width? Thickness?

Bats have to be a certain width but can be as heavy as you want. Modern day bats are actually alot lighter as they are younger wood and teh sumpleness alows a better sweet spot so weight isn't needed. The days of Clive Llyods railway sleeper are gone.

Yeah, I remember seeing on eBay, some CJI Fatso (or something) that is massive. Ridiculous.

On Sports Tonight, they showed a clip of NSW's David Warner showing off the double sided bat. He'll be using it in Tuesday's nights 20/20 game vs SA.
