I'm not sure if we have any Opeth fans here bar myself, but there new album is due out in Europe on the 5th, and so it should be due here later this month, or early December.

So...for anyone who cares, I have been able to latch onto one of their songs, "A Fair Judgement", and I can safely say that Opeth still kick some major ass when it comes to music. This album will be quite heavy, but this song has all clean vocals and sound sensational. There are only 6 songs on the album, but it goes for around 61 minutes in length. They also have "Damnation" coming out in March, and that one will be alot mellower.

Not sure if many people like Opeth, but I thought I'd put this up for anyone who does. Cheers.

I've been listening to Deliverance for a couple of days now..... it sounds a bit rushed, but overall a excellent album.
"A fair judgement" is probably the best track off the album.

Also if like Opeth and death metal, check out Bloodbath, featuring MIke from Opeth, Guitarists from Katatonia and drummer from Edge of Sanity....

The Album is being released around the same time as opeth's. Listen to 3 hours of power on triple j - they played bloodbath last week

Thanks for that Minkus. From all reports it's an excellent album, not sure if they would rush an album as Opeth are pretty professional, but I am yet to hear it all so I can't comment. Can't wait till it hits our shores here, but I'm still not sure when! :(

Macca - Spot on mate. However, Opeth are not just good....they are GREAT! :D
