That's not a bad list - I think I had 7 of my 100 selections in there.
Although, there's some ****e I think its a good list overall.
No critiscism, even if it was pointed out, correctly me thinks, that it looks like a Ausstereo xmas party.
Imagine if a CD could be made of this.
Big Footy's greatest hits - as voted by you!

Was I the only person who voted for Creep by Radiohead? I gave it first placing and it missed out! How?!?!

Overall, a very good list.
Didn't think Oasis would go 1-2 though. Loved to have seen November Rain get a top 10 finish, but one song i can't believe didn't make it was sweet child o' mine

Agree, shall we lodge a protest?
I think I had it in my top 5/10. Actually I had around 3 songs from Radiohead and only Karma Police got in.
Not a bad list I guess. Disappointed not to see 'Lithium' by Nirvana in the mix.
Mongrel, how many votes did Don't Go Away by Oasis get?
Oasis 1 and 2! YEAH!!! Beatles with 5 entries and even Harpoon made the list.
Not bad at all.

Yeah they are but MMM plays more rock songs while SAFM/FOX plays all your pop.
Which is why I rate MMM above SAFM (by a fair bit actually)

I'm not doubting the validity of Mongrel's work. However, I'm very curious, what did each of the songs in the 100 poll?
Also how many songs were voted for in total?

I am late on the scene but these are my thoughts for what they're worth...
Oasis have better songs then the top 2, especially off of Definitely Maybe... in Live Forever, Cigarettes and Alcohol, Whatever and maybe even Supersonic.... whilst I love Wonderwall I can easily tire of it after several listenings. Where as the others hold up very well.
The other band I disagree with is Pink Floyd also have better songs the The Wall (btw which part??? I gather The Wall part B) and probably better then Wish You Were Here. Comfortably Numb I would rate as their best followed by Time.
Cheers

Very ordinary list! almost zero representation from the dance/electronica genres. I thought:
New Order- Blue Monday
Stone Roses- Fools Gold
Dee-Lite- Groove is in the heart
Tori Amos-Professional Widow
Underworld-Born Slippy
may have had a look in.
