Is this true?

Well, I'm disappointed. Losing a guy like TD from around the club is a bad thing in my opinion. He's the kind of guy that makes you proud to be a Bomber supporter. I know he was at South Melb before he moved to Windy Hill, but he's been such a great Essendon person for so long that it really seems we've lost an important part of the club, and just as he seemed to be well and truly back into the swing of all things "Essendon" again too.

Hell, I could understand if Sheeds returned to coach the Tigers for a few years, but TD? To Collingwood!?

Oh well, good luck to him.

I think.

Yes, the Essendon committee have well and truly gone nuts.

I just got an email from Essendon confirming it...:( Damn, loved TD.

Was hoping he might coach Essendon after Sheeds...ready Mark Harvey?

Damn, why won't this thing let me post smilies anymore?

Its what's needs to happen if you want to become a senior coach these days. TD needs a different coaching perspective in order to be a senior coach. It worked for Mark Thompson and Neale Daniher, so I'm not too worried. Mark Harvey needs to do it if he's serious about coaching.

TD will coach someone within a couple of years. Maybe Essendon?

Left because he didn't want to live in Bendigo.

Shocked at that news, bloody shocked. Agree with mongrelpunt though in that if TD wants to coach at a senior AFL level one day, the experience at another club will do him good.
Knew TD didn't want to be with Bendigo weeks ago.
