View Full Version : Can u stil buy Premiership Vids?

I was wondering if the 1997 and 1998 Premiership videos are still available to purchase!
I was gonna buy them at the time, but simply haven't and now as we get further away from those moments, and our list has changed a fair bit, as has our coach, it is becoming more of a memory that I need on video (both years)
Anyone know if they are still available?
You can get it online through the Crows website, and I'd be stunned if any of the AFL shops don't have it on the shelf.
They have both at the Cunninghams round the corner from my house!!!
Also have both at the Target around the corner from my house.
AFL Video Name a Game would have every GF since about 1950 I would imagine
My copies are wearing out already. Especially the second half of the 98 GF!!
Although when I watch them I even watch all the pre-match stuff as well.
I bought the 1997 video and have 1998 as recorded off tv. I'll probably buy the DVDs. Although what'd be great if I could get those whole finals series. Can you get DVD box sets of the 1997 and 1998 finals series?

I have the original taped off the TV. I have the final's boxed sets. I have the official Grand Final videos. I have them also on DVD. But be warned, on DVD they are like hens teeth! I tried Easy DVD and they still can't get them for me (I ordered them over 2 months ago!) But I was able to get them from the AFL store at Marion (godbless Mark Bickley!!!). They are fantastic! I also have the celebrations at Wayville Showgrounds on tape. I love watching that aswell!

What the Club should have arranged with AFL Video is for the Wayville Showground stuff, the King William St Parades and the footage from the city and country celebrations to be included on the DVD's as special features. They have all these great resources but don't use 'em...frustrating.
The DVD's seem to be back in stock around the place now. Apparently AFL Video lost the original templates last year and that's why there was such a shortage.

I picked up this week's edition of Inside Football this morning and on the back cover they are advertising a Crows 2002 Season Highlights Video & DVD. Prices and product numbers as follows:
VHS AFV294 $29.95
DVD AFVD294 $34.95
Special comments by Mark Bickley. I might have to get this one.
