View Full Version : Movie Download Movies / Tv Shows
Hi there, can anyone tell me is there any website where you can download movies/tv shows legally to keep.
i know how you can do it illegally but i would prefer to know how to pay for and do it legally.
the only place i can find is bigpond but that is only for rent not to keep.

Itunes. Has movies and TV shows both, but it's not the greatest collection just yet.
Why not just buy a collection instead of downloading? It will be better quality and you can find some really cheap box sets depending on what you are looking for.
But yeah iTunes is all I know of.
cheers, id prefer to have movies downloaded so i can cut out the need for storing dvd's/waiting for them to come out at a good price,
i have about 200-300 at the moment and that takes up enough space as it is.
looked at itunes they were ok but still at 20-25 bucks each new release it is cheaper to wait a month and get an ex rental dvd.
vuze is the one i was going to start using but the movies on there are illegal to download and id prefer to try and find another service that is still cheap
Any reason why you want legal copies?
No real reason mate other than would just like it all to be legal.

Mate, you probably break several laws a day without even realising it. Download the torrents FFS.

You could always hire your DVDs or use Quickflix. Then use a program like DVD Shrink to save to your computer.
Once again probably not legal

methinks the OP has been brainwashed by the "you wouldn't steal a car.... so why would you steal a movie" ad at the beginning of movies? :)

:D I hate that thing. The good thing about downloading torrents is that you never have to see that.

:thumbsu: - can't stand it either. I wouldn't steal a car that's true. But certainly a movie (especially if it has an adult rating:D)

The way I see it, if production companies can afford to pay actors millions and spend even more on sets, costumes and editing, then they can go without me spending $20 on a dvd.... ;)
Having said that, I do have a big dvd collection.
