Pretty much, only difference is Sam impersonated Nicky Winmar who is real, where as Ritchie doing Mahatma Cote is someone who is obviously not real

I remember him ending a segment in a tank, driving down the road with 'wide load' printed on the back. then it cut to ritchie benaud who said dryly "one of the finest examples of accidental comedy I've ever seen "... :D:thumbsu:

I do remember him!!
The late David Hookes came up with the idea of his mate Greg Ritchie doing his Mahatma Cote impersonation on 5AA back in 1994.
Mahatma Cote still cracks me up!!
Unfortunately, in this politcally correct world, the Indians find him very offensive and they control the power in world cricket.
When will India collapse to a point where their economy cannot sustain control over world cricket.

Can't believe it was ever greenlit to go on the air to be frank. Reminds me of Krusty with the flapping dickie.

he still comes on 6PR every thursday for an 'interview' with brad hardie
He's about as funny as getting poked in the eye..
Simpleton stuff. Would be popular with the 20/20 crowd if run nowdays.
