Anyone here go to any of the latest Oils gigs?

Was @ the Forum on Friday night and they were unbelievable. With Diesel and Sneak as the support it was on hell of a night.

These guys just keep getting better - really really amazing stuff.

I was tempted to see them when they were meant to play here mid December, after seeing your post though, I checked out the tour dates to find that European dates have been cancelled!!

Och Well, Ryan Adams is playing instead, might go and see him for a laugh. Apparently when he was playing recently, somebody yelled out a request for "Summer of 69". At which point Ryan, lost his cool, got the management to turn the house lights on, identified the person, got out his wallet and refunded the patron's ticket before getting management to chuck him out. Thus ensuring that Ryan Adams will hounded for ever more.

Saw the Oils last year at Metropolis, supported by Lo-tel. Good as always.
