Sean Quinn in the late set rocks.....Sean Quinn in the early set is average.......I have discovered this due to the fact that Sean Quinn is at every single major dj event in Melbourne........

No supporting acts..just the locals..
60 bucks is a standard price for a night like this..Seaman, Lawler etc etc was the same
Grant Smilie (Who?)
Delmo (Who?)
Derek K (Who?)
Matt Wilko (Who?)
The are all house burgers. Boring. Grant Smillie is Jemma of Big Brother fame ex boyfriend though.
Sean Quinn rocks!
Too right! He is also the nicest and most approachable DJ in town..

Quinny will be closing, he always does at gigs like these..it's his 'right'. He plays at every Melbourne event because he doesn't go international much at all, and quite simply he is the best DJ in Melbourne. (Kasey is pretty handy too)
And while Im giving them a plug, check out their new album which is coming out in 03...Very 'Airdrawndagger'ish from the tracks Ive heard. Their (Sean and Kaseys) production name is Our House..unsure of the title
This has all the shapings to be event of the year..so long as Sasha isn't worn out from playing 4000000000 gigs in the last 40000000 nites!

Soulseek is the best share program if you're into your progressive and trance and the like
And Quinny was voted Best Vic DJ last nite at the Aus dance music awards :)

Speaking of Victorian DJ's... Has Jayse Knipe put anything out lately???... last thing I have of his is on that Oz M.O.S from about 98. His CD before that (with him twirling a firestick on the front) is a great CD.
