John Elliott catagorically said that Essendon cheated to win the 1993 Premiership.
HOW BAD ARE CARLTON WHEN THEY CHEAT THE SALARY CAP IN 2000 AND STILL CANT EVEN WIN THE FLAG!!
Carlton are truely a tragic tragic club!
They deserve everything that they get and more!

Fully agreed. Good old John Elliot and his big mouth have finally been silenced.
How great a feeling is it knowing Carlton have cheated and still wernt able to get off the bottom of the ladder
What a rabble!

The breach occurred in 2000, not this year. Don't let it get in the way though of your spiel though.

Which makes your rabble even bigger hipocrites after what Elliot said in 99 about us cheating to win the 93 flag.
And now your president elect wants the afl to go soft on Carlton.
The afl should at least be consistant and come down hard on them like they did to Essendon.

Never stopped your ex-pres pointing the finger at the wrongdoings of others a few years back...........

Like Elliott didn't let Carlton being over the cap themselves in '93 get in the way of his spiel....

Mercifully.
My father-in-law actually tried to do business with him, and said he was the most ethically challenged individual he has ever had to deal with. I guess his shady business dealings that currently have him in a lot of hot water probably make good evidence of that.
