Although this film is yet to be out i seen it at Reading cinemas the other day. I must say its a really funny film and so worth seeing. Really well done movie if you ask me. 8/10 Hopefully a few others would think its good by the trailer.
From the promos it looks pretty good and you can't go wrong with Ricky.
saw it a coupla months ago, has some real LOL gervais moments.
it gets a bit soppy tho, definately a couples film.
definately see it for valentines day.
I'm pretty sure i watched this months ago, or am i confusing it with something else?

nailed it.
Essentially, when Gervais is given a free run, it thrives, when they try to construct a storyline, it dies.

I'll go see it just for the fact that Gervais is in it, but I am not expecting much considering he wasn't involved in the writing of the script.
the dumb thing is that it was released in the states a few months ago so there has been a torrent available for ages. Having said that, it is a great movie. Highly reccomend it.

I didn't like it at all. In fact I would rate it as one of the worst films I have ever seen along with Tom Green's Freddy Got Fingered and Mike Myer's The Love Guru.

Its a hollywood film they have to ruin them by making them all syrupy and nice at the end. Still worth seeing though, there are enough laughs in it IMO.

I really enjoyed it, although at times it lacked the subtlety i usually associate with Ricky Gervais.
Gervais and Téa Leoni had some genuine chemistry, which was surprising, whilst Greg Kinnear held it all together well.
I totally marked out when Ricky slipped in the 'willy nilly' line. :D

Careful EY, saying you like this movie will upset the uber-cool police who all say they don't like it.
I agree, it was a good movie and worth a look.:thumbsu:

I saw it the other day.
Ricky Gervais is a quality comedian and I can think of worse ways to kill a couple of hours.
This is not an earth-shattering film by any stretch but taken for what it is, it is worth a look. Gervais doesn't reinvent the wheel here but he does what he does best and provides some genuinely funny dialogue.
