Is it me or are ch 7&9 just ripping off each others shows.
Ch 9- 60 minutes
Ch 7-Sunday night
Ch 9-Underbelly
Ch 7-Gangs of oz
Ch 9- Some wanabe border control
Ch 7- real border patrol
Ch 9-Some wanabe find my family
Ch 7-Real find my family
Most of the shows you've mentioned are actually rip offs of overseas shows
- Border Patrol is a rip off of a Kiwi show
- Gangs of Oz sounds like a rip off of a show called Ross Kemp on Gangs
- Find my family is most likely a rip off of a show [probably from the UK]
- Crash Scene Investigation [both 7 & 9 have one of these shows] is a rip off of a Kiwi show
- Underbelly is simply a rip off Blue Murder and Phoenix

I just realised that I only really watch 7 and 9 for sport. All my other viewing is on ten, abc and sbs.

they're both trying to out dumb each other too. I watched a bit of the morning programs today and they are a pile of shit. Seriously, gossip updates every hour? is that necessary?

Gangs of Oz regardless of where it came from is made to cash in on Underbelly's success.
And I always thought FMF was a variation of the show on SBS Who Do You Think You Are?
But generally whenever a show is a hit on 9 or 7 the other will make some sort of copycat show. And generally the copy will not be as successful as the orginal. Customs will not be as big as Border Security & likewise Sunday Night will probably not be as successful as 60 Minutes in the long term.
And I always thought FMF was a variation of the show on SBS Who Do You Think You Are?
That's based on a Pommie show.I think the difference is WDYTYA goes back through a persons family history.FMF I think finds a lost relative so they can get footage of the teary reunite. Crying must make good ratings.

I just realised that I only really watch 7 and 9 for sport. All my other viewing is on ten, abc and sbs.
Pretty much agree. Aussie Drama, Crap American drama, sensationilised News/Current Affairs shows, programmes about horrendously "fixing" up some suburbanites house or back yard over a weekend on a budget by B grade celebrities who are actually only celebrities because Channel 7/9 promote them as such just aren't my cup of tea.

Of the morning shows, The Morning show on channel 7 is the absolute worst. It is so tryhard and gay. They're forever discussing sex. e.g. "when should you root so and so" and ****ing underwear and shit.
and the woman drools over the underwear models and who ever else they have for bullshit segments.

Yes, they are clones.
Channel 7 is commercial crap.
Channel 9 is commercial crap.
There is another clone. It's name is Channel 10.
An unrelated channel is also slowly mutating itself towards being another clone.
That is all.
