Now that it seems that Channel 10 will not be broadcasting the draft live into Adelaide I was just wondering if any of us Port supporters had Fox Footy.
With out being rude I was hoping that a few of us might be able to meet up at someone's house and watch it together, Im willing to pay an admittance fee if one should apply.
If not I was also wondering if one of the pub's around Adelaide might be showing it, if so we could have a bit of a Big Footy meet up for the Draft.
What do you think?
If I had Fox Footy you could all come over to my place and park infront of the telly. But I dont, so I apologise.
I like your idea Scott. Would anyone be willing? I'd pay too, if you felt it was necessary.

I don't have Fox at the moment but will have after a shift later this year...........but it's always available out at Tracy Village Sports & Social Club where our Top End Supporters Group is based..........
I'd heard originally that FOX would show it live to all states that were not receiving it on free to air............but who knows what the reality is as I can't see it mentioned anywhere on Fox's program guides...........
unless it's too early in the morning for the eyes to function.......:D

That's a bit steep.
Don't forget you only need to serve beers, not chardonnay. :D

I have Fox Footy but might be at a cricket final that day. I will know after this Sunday whether my son's team makes it or not. If they don't then I will be home for it and will let you guys know. That's if they have it on.

Surely an amber-coloured admission price would be acceptable. ;)

Umm yes, byo snacks and 'refreshments' would be the go, what refreshments I'd leave up to the individuals.

BYO, & M:)
I was under the impression that it wouldn't be live on Fox but i guess who knows at this stage.
I think i'll be sticking fairly close to the computer if it isn't on live as we should be able to see it on the AFL site. On second thought, i'll stay right here on Big Footy as i'm sure someone in Vitoria will be keeping one eye on the TV and posting the draft picks as they happen.

Okay here's the up to date info, I rang both Foxtel and Channel 10
Foxtel will only be having update bulletins during the draft, reason is that Channel 10 have to rights.
Channel 10 will be showing only an hour long highlights program on the day of the draft.
The only chance for this to change is if Channel 10 is inundated with complaints, so there you go, if you wanna see it in full and live, get on the phone, make complaints, write to them complaining.

Bigfooty's probably a good idea as the AFL site's likely to go down.........:D

Why would anyone want to screen the draft instead of Judge Judy or Jerry Springer.

Apparently some people would rather watch cars than the rare mix of drama, gambling and football that is the AFL Draft.
