Vics are choking! Nice to see some things never change.
Don't write WA off just yet after last weeks poor effort. It's stupid how all other teams have played 2 Pura Cup games before we did (the warm up game vs England can hardly count at match practice).
Terrific bowling by Clarke and Joey Angel in 37C heat! Everyone noticed that Goodwin is 12th man?
Cant wait to see Campbell get 100 and Marto aswell and then Gilly comes in and hits Warney for 20 odd in an over should be some good entertainment :)

JL has lost form badly.
Of course some people will still tell you it's bias keeping Victorians out of the national team... the Vics having a squad of nuff nuffs doesn't enter into it.

Would the decision to go into this game with 4 recognised batsmen be described as bizarre? Moss isn't a first class opener and White certainly isn't yet a first class #6. A loss by an innings coming up possibly on day2!

Any side that has Darren Berry coming in above #10 is a bit thin. For starters, why he bats above Shane Warne is beyond me!

I remember Hookes commenting that White's Ideal position was @ 7 & that teams wouldn't like to see Berry at No.8!

Great keeper, crap batsman! Either gets a ton or nothing, no consistency.
It's now lunch on Day 3, and I reckon we can just about ink in the six points for WA.
Victoria trailing by 71 with 2 wickets in hand in the 2nd innings...

Oh well...I think the Vics have only won at the WACA once of twice in the last decade - may be we will play better against the Redbacks at the G beginning Nov. 22.....Let's only hope!!

Serves them right for picking 5 batsmen!
Why would you need an extra bowler with Hodge in the team? They conceded a big total anyway.
Don't know who to bring in to be honest though.
Still i'm not complaining about the position we're in & losing at the WACA is no disgrace but the manner of the defeat is very disappointing.
Chins up, we should beat SA & if we do we're still in it.
They lack self belief - the WACA hoodoo?
