I was thinking about Stephen Paxman the other day (the old fellas already training for next year) and the fact that he's played over 100 games for Port now.....and it got me thinking about how many 100 gamers there are for the Brisbane Lions now (as opposed to partial Fitzroy/Brisbane games)....so I thought I'd ask here.
How many do you reckon you have, and who was the first Brisbane Lions 100 gamer?
Including Caracella, we now have 15 players on our current list who have played 100 games or more. I believe the first out of our current list of players to achieve the milestone was A.Lynch, back with Fitzroy in 1992, the next after that was M.Ashcroft in 1994 with the Bears.
Since the merger, we have had a few players who have played 100 games for the club. Akermanis, Ashcroft, Black, Hart, Johnson, Lappin, Leppitsch, Lynch, McRae, C.Scott, Voss, White.
From that list, I'm not particularly sure who was first - although, I could probably work it out in a spare moment (possibly either Ashcroft, Lappin or White).
S.Paxman also played 102 games for Fitzroy.
B.Scott, C.Keating, D.Bradshaw will also be likely to make it to the 100 game career tally mark next season (albeit, not with the merged club), as will L.Power who has played all of his games with the merged club.
M.Voss, M.Pike and N.Lappin should post their 200th games next season as well, along with M.Ashcroft making it to the 300 mark.

Simon Black would have played all his 100 games with the merged Lions.
