Was first in line at Melton, there at 1am this morning

Cost us the fact that we got 10 tix, had we got half we would have been alot closer.

I arrived at the brand spanking new Federation Square Ticketek at 5.30am, and was first in line. Got my two seats in section E, row V. Basically front and centre to the action. Perfect. :)

BOCS website turned out to be a complete joke (online allocation sold out in under a minute, if it actually ever existed!!!), so had to scramble down to the local record store. Queued for 40 minutes, but got tickets in the front row of block 19 at Burswood. So I'm at the front of three blocks back, but pretty central. Should be great!!!

(queues of people in the middle of a large shopping centre do make people curious, don't they? :) Felt sorry for the old dear who was there wanting to buy tickets for something else. Boy did she pick the wrong morning...)

My girlfriend started ringing at 8.30AM, and didn't get through till 9.30.

She sat there for an hour, hanging up, press redial, engaged tone, hang up, redial, engage tone, and got through at 9.30AM.

Still got pretty good tickets, section 08, which is just to the left, but still in the main area, and only two sections back.. can't wait.
