Personally, I think that for team balance he should be played as a leading full forward out of the square. If he could kick say 40 - 50 goals I think all the other forwards (Roo and Hammil) would benefit greatly.
I also think that Hugdeton is a great full back, I would rate his form this year better than Gaspers in his All Australian year.

Can't add more to that. Pretty much agree with everything you just said.

I would like to agree, but I carn't!!!!!
WHY?????
Cause it's just not good that SAV and I keep agreeing!!!!!:)
Definately agree with that assesment. Gehrig at full forward, Riewoldt at centre half forward, Hamill at half forward flank, Koschitzke at centre half back, Hudghton at full back and Penny in a back pocket. Gehrig and Milne will take up most of the goal kicking responsibility, with Hamill and Riewoldt hopefully chipping in consistently. We will also be looking for more goals to come out of the midfield group. Brooks may also be a surprise ruck/forward.
When he came to us I thought he was much better in the backline for the Saints than he ever was in the forward line for the Weagles. His goalkicking wasn't very accurate.
Did he play in the forward line for us much this year? I reckon he should only be played there if we have cover in the backline, which it seems we do now. A couple of years ago it'd be a "no way", because we had no backmen.
Would have him at Full Back. But now with Penny in the side, I would trial big fras down in the goal sqaure. According to the Herald Sun earlier this year, Gehrig was in the Top 5 most accurate shot on goal from 40m out. This year it wasn't to be.... but he did miss half a season with OP....
Interesting topic... a hard one. This is the question everyone wants to know. I bet GT has some tricks up his sleeve, so I guess we'll have to wait and see. I'm guessing either Gehrig, Roo or Kosie will line up at FF (round one).

I'd suggest New Guinea if I figured you Saints would let me get away with it.............;)
Haha I guess he must be a bit more accurate than I thought then! I just remember him missing a few for the Weagles.
At least we've got lots of options these days!
