Another double century against England. His form is just too good, he can't be ignored. It's time for Steve Waugh to follow his brother out of the side, he's shown plenty of indications recently that he is past it. The Sharjah century was his last hurrah.

Plus I want to see the headlines... "Australian selectors want Love, not Waugh". :D

He is a good batsmen - has a brilliant all-round the wicket technique and will score runs on any deck against any attack. He doesn't have any real strength apart from the strength that he has no weak spots.

he has no weak spots. Don't get too carried away, he was only playing England.

Speaking of that place where they breed the world's finest grade cricketers, where's Brett Li been lately? Must be busy.:D

True, but most of the other Aus A batsman looked nowhere near as confident as Love did when batting. Blewett was unconvincing and stodgy for most of his innings and while Clarke and North did well, they never looked as assured as Love did.

It wasn't a headline, but that very line was used in a report in The Age on Saturday.

Geez, a journo can be a hack but as long as they can spin out a lame pun or two they've got a job for life.
