Here is a fixture of our 2009 coming up, before we return home for our next season of cricket in Australia. And boy, it's going to be huge isn't it?:)

Following a mixed 2008/09 season for us, we have barely clung onto our status as no.1 test nation in the world and lost our no.1 ranking in ODIs.:thumbsd:

So, what we have is the official test championship coming up, and the South Africans have for a while been desperate to knock us off the no.1 spot in test matches.
They have not lost too many series at home since returning from exile in the early 90s (with the exception being us).
Then there is the 2nd installment of the 20/20 world cup, which just like the form of the game itself is very short and sharp, which will be a minimum of 2 matches and a max of 6 depending on how well we go.
And finally, a 5 test, 2 T20I and 7 ODI tournament against England in their country, where we will compete for the Ashes once more, like we have done so for 132 years.:thumbsu:
