i see carlton are $9 million in debt with a loss of $1 million this year to boot. i would love to see them forced to merge now that my most despised man in football is at the helm. we were killed off on a much smaller debt, which these days the AFL would have bank rolled anyway. in any case, oakley was the public face, however collins sharpened the sword and drove it deep into our lion heart. he is an unmitigated maggot. i would like to see his beloved blues die the way we did, however like his docklands stadium fiasco, anything he touches will now be propped up by tv consortiums and the AFL.
