Do you Collingwood supporters think Laidley will make a good coach......... do you think Collingwood will miss having him as an assistant coach?

laidley was a good choice for the roos and not just due to his obvious connection with the club. after pagan i think it would have been a mistake to go with wallace, eade, brittain etc. bit of youth and true enthusiasm was needed and you'll get it in bucket loads from laidley. he came to collingwood with a reputation for being a meticulous planner as coach and was great for us. it might be a couple of seasons before the roos get the results to prove laidley as a coach but he'll do well. good luck to him.

I think he'll be a very good coach, especially with the youth policy you guys seem to be going with
