Watched a bit of The Hurricane last night. Not a bad movie, but a bit too hollywood for me. Could have been done a whole lot better if it hadn't tried to make rubin carter out as a saint.

Anyway, all Bob Dylan fans will know of the song Hurricane, and the influence it had on the release of Rubin Carter, but does anyone know how everything finaly ended up.

I heard rumours that later found evidence pointed to carter atually committing the murders, and that Dylan denounced the song and the man. I am sceptical about this inormation as it came from one of those people who always tries to ruin a good story. Has anyone seen Dylan recently ( last ten years), and if so, did he sing hurricane, or does anyone have any other information on his opinion of Rubin Carter?

It's a good song that's for sure, I've heard the rumour too that Dylan denounced Carter and hasn't played the song since he found that Carter was actually guilty but haven't seen him play and don't know about the validity of that rumour.
