People around these boards seem to think we need a true crumbing forward in our forward line, well what about picking up Moorcroft in the draft?

Not interested..........with Pickett and Wilson coming into the mix and the burger boys we're right for crumbers......

another good mark making the mix 3 talls and 3 smalls would see us with an ideal set up.........

Would fit nicely in the opposite pocket to that other ex-Essendon passenger Coc katoo-Collins.

Moorcroft isn't a true crumbing forward in any case....he's another marking small, which we have enough of.

Oh please, dear Lord, no.

On the other hand, Shane Wakelyn might be available.....
Hardly a crumbing forward, but another candidate for the massive and ongoing Brother Reunification Project?

I don't think Choco needs to be given -more- excuses to not play Thurstans and Morgan.

He's already clarified that he's only going to play for a Victorian side next season.

The reason for this is because he has a one year old and a four year old, and "they have family over here so I want them to stay in this environment."

Big NO!!!

Zombie, with you suggesting this and that we should pick up Ryan Fitzgerald in the pre-season draft I am becoming a little concerned as to where you want us to finish next year.

Its time for a premiership not a re-visit of 2000.

Look i never have been one to discourage Port in picking up players like Moorcroft & especially Wakelin, but we hardly ever do it, I doubt we will start now. Moorcroft isn't the answer, he can play a bit but would he help us or even get a game, doubtful. Wakelin's a fine player but if we didn't want him two seasons ago, i doubt we will pick him up now that Morgan & the Thrust must get a go.
