Has anyone ever seen the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson? Its on after Letterman in the states and it's absolutely hilarious. Craig does great interviews and some great skits. I wish channel 10 would pick it up.
Here's an interview where Craig interviewed his sister.

This thread deserves a bump. Kudos to hirdy_is_champ for picking up on Ferguson before everyone else.
This is the best late night show on telly at the moment - Ferguson's improv is the best part of the show. I'm pretty tired of the lame pre-written social commentary gags that most hosts use each night.

Conan is better but still enjoy this
Conan and Ferguson are the best talk show hosts going around at the moment, but I just don't find the format interesting. A lot of the material they have to work with is boring and it's hard to be consistently funny for a couple of hours every night.
And celebrated his 25th birthday at the Crazy Horse in Adelaide.
How did Stewart Dew ever score Teresa Palmer?

Bump.
Just discovered the show in the last few weeks, guy is awesome. What I love is that it's not just joke, joke, joke, cut to band, end of monologue. Seems more 'fresh' for lack of a better word and different to the other late night shows.
Plus he's an awesome interviewer which helps.

Yep, Ferguson is the best. He is just a champion bloke and great entertainer. By far the best interviewer of the current hosts.
I recommend his autobiography for anyone who likes the show.
I recommend his interviews with Joel McHale and Kristen Bell. Amazing stuff.

I like Ferguson.
I'm still a Conan man though. I wish GEM would put him on at a reasonable time.
I don't like Conan, haven't ever since I listened to a Simpsons commentary he was on, and he spent the entire episode talking about himself and gave no depth to the gags at all.
Ferguson is brilliant, I do enjoy the "in" jokes that he runs with as well like Secretariat. It's got a bit of a Get This feel about it.

Could genuinely watch this all day.

secretariat is the most brillaintly silly segment of a brilliant show.
His bits with Bradley, the little bloke on the show, dressed as a leprechaun the other night were very funny.

And if you miss an episode, you'll find it on YouTube.
Every episode for the past year and a half or so is on there.
Great show.

Anyone feel like this is easily the best talk show on at the moment?
Craig is hilarious and just brings out such a different side to the guests on his show. Every week I seem to be falling in love with another female guest he has on, when they show they are quite humourous themselves (Amy Smart this week).

Yes. I watch this and Conan, although I prefer Ferguson for the interviews, the puppets, etc.
I've warmed to Geoff as well. I especially like it when he says bizarre things like: "My name backwards is Nosretep Ffoeg."

Definitely the best late night show on television - been watching it regularly ever since Eleven started showing it - wish it wasn't censored so poorly though (first of all, it's late night, you should be able to say ****, but if you insist on censoring it out, do you have to do it with those stupid flags and nonsensical words?) Craig is fantastic, so much better than Letterman :thumbsu:

Well there you go - here I thought it was just Eleven being annoying.

Also, happy birthday Geoff.

You seriously thought Eleven were putting in the graphics and sound effects. Are you a bit slow ? :D
Did you not notice the "Crikey, dingo" line is Craig's voice ?
American TV is way more strictor than Aussie TV.I think saying a word like penis is frowned upon on US TV,but here it's no problem. You sometimes hear US guests on Aussie shows say that they didn't know you could use a certain word on TV here as in the US it's censored.
Did you need subtitles ?
+1....
Caught a rerun of the Drew Carey Show the other day - I'd forgotten how incredibly annoying his character in that was.
Nice to see him in a show with his own persona.
i thought it was 11 too but given the constant mentions of the censor i soon understood.

He was one of the best characters in The Drew Carey Show
I always thought he was kind of unfunnily overdramatic and stupid.
To be honest I didn't really like much about that show except Drew himself. He has a wonderful deadpan delivery.

Craig often mentions that he likes the "fat Drew Carey" better, I assume he's lost a fair amount of weight.
American censorship is ridiculous. I've heard ABC 24 let f..k through on the news a couple of times at about 4 in the afternoon, and shit is almost never blocked out on the news. In that regard we have it better than them.

He's now a stick as you can see in this picture (http://www.imdb.com/media/rm129073152/nm0004804)

Same. I feel pity for him when I watch his acting in that show. I don't like his Aquaman shit, either.

Kristen is the best guest, they get along so well and she is hilarious.
The Las Vegas video sucked tho. Also, Geoff was talking way too much last night.

It was so strange having Geoff talk in sentences at the start of the show and during the Vegas video.
yeah i thought it wasn't working very well but then boom "i'm ticking away"
also is it me or has there been a complete lack of tweet's and e-mails lately.
Craig tends to skip tweets and emails when he either has 3 guests or a night like last night, with the las vegas video and Kristen Bell.
I'm a fan of him bringing out a guest and doing the tweets and email with them. Funny stuff usually follows.

Yeah, I like it when he does that too. It also rocks when he and a guest do the puppets together. I prefer the puppets to any of his regular monologues.

His one with Matthew McConaghy [sp?] a couple of weeks ago was hilarious

BTW next week will be repeats because Craig is off to Paris to film a weeks worth of shows. For some odd reason they won't air until August.
i'm way way way too excited over these shows in paris with Geoff and Kirsten.

Going to be so good. I lost my shit when he announced it. Kristen is my favourite guest easily.
Brooklyn Decker was great last night, such a sexy woman, but with a great personality too.
Last two days shows were brilliant.
Thursdays was two great guest segments with Zooey and the voice of Winnie the Pooh.
And then to top the week off, we have sexy audience member and sexy Leslie Bibb.

Not that there was any self-promotion there, right Owl-sorry-Craig? :)
He can do all the self promotion he wants if he brings in guests of the calibre of Zooey and Winnie the Pooh voice. :D

Has anybody been watching the Paris episodes? I missed last night because I was out but from what I've seen I'd say they've been ok without being anything special. Probably a bit more "educational" than amusing at times, but as someone who likes french it interests me all the same.
They have been hit and miss. Last nights was the best. Seems awkward without a crowd, especially his openings. Still great value though, and Kristen Bell is so cute.
They are YouTube if you want to watch.

Not so much awkward as just difficult to get used to - you expect to hear other reactions except your own...but don't. Last night's (Jean-Michal Cousteau) was wonderful.
EDIT: Hang on, that was Wednesday. Damn the passage of time...
The final two were great, Thursdays especially.
