View Full Version : Who's seeing who next year?
I think there were a few threads that have been lost on a few different gigs next year, so I'm starting a new one!
Who are you seeing next year?
So far I have tickets for:
PJ Harvey
Foo Fighters
Pearl Jam
silverchair
I'm still deciding on KISS, and I would love someone to confirm that Prince is really coming here soon.
Also the Robbie tour is a given once dates are announced. :)

CHICKS ON SPEED @ the Prince of Wales. Good chance I'll back it up with Kraftwerk @ the Metro (puke!) the following night. And of course, there is the usual array of top quality local bands like Architecture in Helsinki, Origami, Other Peoples Children, Lucksmiths etc.
IDLEWILD @ The Corner in Feb :D
BUZZCOKS early next year
SPOON early next year
BADLY DRAWN BOY @ Metro on March 23
plus THE SALTEENS this Thursday @ The Evelyn

I'll definitely go see the Buzz****s once I know dates and the like. I'll probably go see Kraftwerk (see ya there Shinners)-hanging to see The Robots and Radioactivity live. Just saw Dead Moon on the weekend, who were my number two band I saw live in 2002 after the Dictators.
Rolling Stones in February at Rod Laver Arena.

I don't know what I'm doing tomorrow.
You people that plan things amaze me. On one hand I find it admirable, because I often have to rush around like a drunken monkey to get a plan to work at all.
At other times, planners get locked into situations and have no maneuverablilty to take advantage of sudden opportunities. The precise situations where I excel - out of habit more than anything else.
Uhm...if a cool band comes to town next year, I guess I'll go see them. ;)
Peace,
The Hitman

Next year I'll see a heap of bands, so hopefully more quality comes later in the year.
The Hitman

As for single band gigs, i never organise going to them until a couple of days before, but probably Foo Fighters.. and other than that it depends on who's tourning.
