The question is simple. Will Peter Siddle take a hatrick?

Wouldn't be a Victorian if he didn't.
What are the odds punter gives him the new ball to try and get it with?

If Mckenzie is on strike, put your bets on.

I'd like to think that he would, but it hardly ever happens. He does have the wood over Neil McKenzie, though.

And Warne won't be in the slips to drop it.

I'm pretty sure that's what the OP intended.
Anyway, I will be back here in 8 years to say "I told you so!" once again. :thumbsu:

Now we know he didn't take the hat trick but if I had've got on to this earlier I would've voted yes as I think the last several players to take hat-tricks for Australia are all Victorians bar one.
If someone can confirm whether this is right, I remember:
- Merv Hughes took one over two games back in the early 90's
- Damien Fleming's over at Sri Lanka not long after, and then...
- Warnie's famous one against England in the mid 90's
I do remember Glenn McGrath taking one though, is that right?

interesting trivia, but not really a great predictor of future hat-tricks...
