Ok, For those with Foxtel, you will know what I am talking about.
The Pam Anne Show.
Does anyone know what the go is with this show? I am really dreading how bad this show might be, but will no doubt give it a chance. Is it an Aussie show? Maybe it will surprise, but I am not holding my breath, lol.

It looks dreadful.Yes it is an Aussie [Caroline Reid ?].It'll be like Dame Edna - her Tv specials loved in the UK but not watched out here.

I've seen the previews and am convinced to stay away, looks like one from out of the poop shoot.
I have seen the previews to this show and i can safely say that it looks like one of the worst shows in Australian tv history.

is this the bitch that dresses up as a flight stewardess and masquerades herself as a "comedian?"
If so she did some real unfunny segment with the Sydney Swans player 10 or so years ago. It was cringe worthiness at its finest.
I'm sure there is a youtube link of it.

I think it would be funnier if Pam Anne was an actual guy dressed in Drag....but the promos look absolutely dreadful.

Looks absolutely pathetic. Even the previews are cringingly painful to watch so there's no way I'm going to subject myself to the inevitable torture of a full episode.

Clearly targetting a gay audience. The gayest show I have seen since that show with the gay Leggo men. Which happened to screen after it.
No thanks for me. Load of rubbish. It can die it's slow death in Foxtel world. :thumbsd:

It was terrible - she was nervous as anything which retarded her delivery of the unfunny punchlines

I watched a bit of it, mainly just to see how terrible it was and it didn't let me down in that regard. I knew from the promo's that it was gonna be shit too.
How long is it gonna last? I reckon it'll get at least a months run to see if it rates well and will be off our screens in 6 weeks.

i saw a nice promo filmed in some airport for this show, it looks like they spent more on this ad than the show! i tuned in and out two seconds later!
The latest promo for it where she mimes a 3-minute song is deplorable.
1) She can't sing (pre-recorded, backed or otherwise).
2) It isn't funny in the slightest - "Skiing in summer and surfing all winter, from Sydney to Melbourne, Darwin to Adelaide, it's the good life. Australia, Australia, god bless Australia."
Who greenlights this shit?
