Sorry we couldn't catch up for coffee when you were in Melbourne, but thanks for the call and it was great to have a short chat with you. I hope all is fine with your dad and that he's well on the way to a full recovery.

Next time you're in Melbourne (North Melbourne vs Essendon Grand Final...2001! http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif ), we'll definitely have that coffee or beer.

Yep, as you can imagine I just ran out of time to do stuff - frankly didn't even tell most of my mates I was in town as I stood no chance of seeing them and hence just pissing them off.

But yep, I've keen for a beer, coffee or whatever next time I'm in Melbourne town - but I should warn you that prob. won't be until around December 2001/ Jan 2002 - even if the Dons go back to back I doubt if I could pull the financial wool over my wife's eyes a second time!!!

PS. Dad's now out of hospital doing rehab for a few weeks/ a month - the old codger is indestructible...
