Smith is a massive fan of Mckenzie and by all reports was massively disappointed that he was dropped. I'm guessing this thread is in jest though :p

Agree it was funny at the time though. Mates just mucking around, not much more to it.

McKenzie was hoping that belting up Smith would save him from the openers spot ... but Saffies have finally, finally realised he is so useless, thay they are playing a middle-order batsman in his place.

Before landing on Australian shores, McKenzie scored 1002 runs @ 55.67 in 2008.

Hard to believe really.

When you score runs against crap sides like bangladesh, West Indies, NZ it makes you look better than you are. A quality team made him look ordinary which shouldnt happen if your a good player, the right decision was made to dump him.

MCkenzie got like 260 odd against Bangas

In a few years time you will understand
It is harmless fun and mucking around, maybe not particulary smart but it is inconsequential.

If you think its a problem then perhaps soccer is the sport for you

Against who?

the blokes technique is very poor, the way he leaves is teh first of many problems

Well, he scored 226 against Bangladesh, which handily inflated his average.

Yes, the right decision was made to drop him. He scored far too slowly and his technique when leaving the ball left him vulnerable to getting bowled or even caught behind.

Only 5 tests too late. Why they played Spud in place of Prince in the first two tests is beyond me.

That said, the slapping could of been the nail in the coffin :p

The feelings wouldn't be mutual I'd say. McKenzie is married to some model yeah? Dunno about Smith though.

The reason he stayed in the team for so long is because this is his sister.

Smith has been dating Minki Van Der Westhuizen for a while. Google her - you won't be dissapointed.

And Chris Martin made a massive 12 not out against them. They were pretty the same innings.

Just a bit of fun between teammates. Smith will get him back somehow.

It is a bit of harmless fun

It is the same reason that in football training, blokes will enjoy tackling their best mates hard.

yes its stuipid and annoying but logically Mckenzie wouldn;t be able to cause any further damage

If you think everything should be about make sure no body gets hurt then maybe soccer is the sport for you. Do you also think that Mitchell Johnson should bowl off no two steps to Smith so that he doesn't get hurt?

Also, if your going to insult someone's intelligence with a post please endeavour to make sense

jesus, no wonder mckenzie can't bat!

he never gets to training cos he can't tear himself away from the bedroom, and whenever he's out in the middle he can't wait to get back to the dressing room...
