Years back when Essendon didn't have any fans the Bulldogs ( yeah, not Footscray ) were the dominant team in the Western Suburbs with fans/supporters which one you prefer to use. So what I want to know is what you bandwagon jumpers "really", yeah seriously think about why the western suburbs has heeps of boobers fans... (ummm mean bombers)

for starters im not a bandwagoner, i was born a bomber and been a member since i was old enough to be

born and bred in west subs, most of the people at school were bulldogs supporters and they werent around in 96 took them a few years to get their scarves out and wear them to school on a monday
so i think u need to do a bit more homework

I'm Western suburbs too, and there are more Bombers fans out here than Doggis.

By the way idiot, i suppose you think that all successful clubs supporters aren't loyal, just because they won the premiership. It's not our fault we were that good. We finished 14th in 1997, and led the atendances (as usual) with about one million people watching us. You probably would have said the same thing about Collingwood when they won 4 in a row in 1927-8-9-30

You are obviously ignorant.

Dont label people bandwagoners without proof. I have been a member since I was old enough too and regardless of the ladder I will follow them forever, in fact, wins are more enjoyable in the struggling years. I remember 1997 I think it was , we missed the finals but the wins we did have were great wins

Essendon - The greatest club with the greatest coach in the league ! Carlton- absolute hypocrites who accuse others of being cheats only for it to be found later that carlton are the "serial salary cap breachers" as quoted by our president, haha

Drop-out-boy,

Please tell me you don't go for the doggies.... PLEASE!.... our rating in the iNtElLliGaNc stakes isn't exactly sky high at the moment, and incoherent and irrelevant rants from morons such as yourself don't do much to help our cause....

And in answer to your question- Windy Hill is about a 15 min drive from the Whitten.... work it out! .... and obviously long term success has a positive correlation with support, hence Essendon's higher levels, not only in the fantastic( http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif) Western Suburbs.

BTW- In case your any other team's supporter.... continue right along. Love your work! http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Bottom line....

Bombers on top= thousands of fans flocking to each and every game, boasting after another win

Bombers struggling= empty stands, no fans.

You are obviously a lot older than me because I've never seen these empty stands you talk about.
