Wayne Carey though, that's another matter. Imagine having a genuine classy forward target at the club. And one who is as tough as him. You could just about play Lloyd on the bench!
I still reckon Rama for maybe a 1-2 year defender like Graham or even Tim McGrath would be awesome. I'll look up Rawlings now on the AFL site and see if he has anything to offer. he does appear taller than rama which is a plus.
how about solomon for calthorpe if we're talking roos? back under sheeds bullet could be a matchwinner again.

"Calthorpe? Interesting. He certainly had patches of brilliance last year. Those forst 2 or 3 games he was instrumental in some of North's best forward moves, but what else would you expect from a former Bomber right? But from all reports, it seems tricky Ricky Olerenshaw is back to his premiership winning best. I'd love to see him back in the Red and Black. Not sure about Soloman though. I'd personally offload one of the Johnsons. Probably Jason."

There is the delicate fibre of a club, but then you have to break an egg to make an omelet! we got caned for letting cummings go, wanga left us and everyone wondered about the fish trade.. and which club came up a winner in those deals? so if were gonna improve, it means looking at the list OBJECTIVELY.
we have the johnos, mercs, misiti, hirdy etc.. solomon and rama are expendable. imagine getting McGrath and daryl White for those too! Defensive steel and flair"
