And so it begins...
Last night I was using 'shuffle' on my iPod (rarity), and a few songs from 'Unplugged in New York' kept coming up. It made me remember how great Nirvana were. Even now, arguably more than 10 years after the 'grunge' era ended, they sound better than nearly anything played on mainstream radio.

I'm finding this one extremely tough, but I'm gonna go with REM in the end as it seemed to have a much greater and profound impact on more people at the time of its release. Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box is still a kickass song, but it's REM by 1 pubic hair for me.
