The guys n gals at the North board have a good idea (which Im totally plagarising, I admit it, so dont slag me off ok).

Why dont we all submit our own B&F votes during the season, and then award the BigFooty EFC Board B&F at the end of the season. We can just post up our 3,2,1's after each game and add em up after rnd 22's end.

Who wants in on it ?????

Just a tip on your voting method. You'll find that a different number of people will vote each week. So, if in one week, 20 people vote and say Hird gets best on ground, he'll get 60 votes. If the following week, Mercuri gets BOG but only 10 people vote, he'll only get 30 votes.

What we did on the official North forum with the internet best and fairest was this. At the end of each round, we'd count up the votes. Whoever got the most votes would get 5 points, the next 4, the next 3 etc. etc. That way, it didn't matter how many people voted week to week, each week was of the same value. It doesn't take that much work to keep a tally and it makes it fair.

I'm in.

Is there any reason why we can't start with an Ansett Cup best and fairest, before the real stuff?

then if someone is tied we can go back and see who got the most three votes
then if its still level we can give 20 points for a wicket, one point for a run, ten for a run out and 20 for a catch

and bonus points if u have blue hair

ok- well if we want to have a practice run during the ansett, I dont see why not- although I guess it depends if the games even get televised (if not we can just rely on Eastaghs votes http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/wink.gif)as Im still not sure about the situation here or in vic, but we'll put up a "post your votes" post (so to speak) on monday anyway, and see how we go.
+ Im sure there are more bombers out there who could participate.........

I am in too. Great idea, but what happens when the game doesn't get shown here? We could miss quite a few games.

well sands- if we dont get to see it, then I guess we cant vote, but I think we're about the only WA bombers here, so it shouldnt be a prob.

&Dont stress too much, as we have a sh*tload of friday niters, and 13 (i think) of our 22 are night games, so we should see a pretty good % of our games on tv.

shins- I reckon you can vote as I trust your impartial judgement, just dont let your pals down at north know ok http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/wink.gif
