Too many Essendon players have injuries and the only way that the coaching staff and medicos can be seen to be doing the right thing is employ EXPERTS from anywhere in the world to go over the Essendon training program , re hab program and the treatment the players receive .
I am sick of the injuries crippling the club.
Thats my beef for the day .

We have the money, we should be looking at hiring the medical staff from a major European soccer team, or an NFL team over their respective off-seasons to look at our systems, and improve them.
not that long ago i would have called the above suggestions over reactive wankery....but now there seems to be little option but to do something along those lines

totally agree, no point boasting how much money we have in assets and the rest of the crap if we cant get our players right. North Melbourne dont even have any facilities and dont have the same problem, Geelong send Rooke to Germany to get his hamstring right, what have we done with Gumbleton ??? we had to wait until he cant walk to get surgery now on his back.

We have plenty of money, the richest club in the AFL, yet, we are so far behind on using our money on improving our football.
It's all good to say we are the richest club in the league, but if it isn't being used in helping this club get back to it's status at the turn of the millenium, then we may aswell be the poorest club.
The problems started when we moved to Docklands. The club chases money a bit more then success. That is one negative of having a business man as a club CEO.
Hopefully the trend will change, at least this year we don't have many long term injuries, hopefully we'll be back to normal in a month or so.

Get the guy Milan had in the late 90s... with shitloads of illegal drugs. EPO, roids, HGH, whatever gets the job done.
AFL drug testing is so, so, so poor it's not funny

I am serious on this .Too many players have gone down and we need the best help / advice we can get .asap .
Strategy, take a closer look at our list.
i think we've only got 10 players 25+
Fletcher, Lloyd, Lucas, McVeigh, Hille, L-Murray, Lovett, McPhee, Skipworth, Welsh
there are just 7 players aged between 25-30... the lowest in the comp (by far) for that age bracket
i've said it before, and i'll say it again.
not enough seasoned bodies on the essendon list atm.
younger bodies will inevitably be more susceptible to injury.
10 players 25+
36 players 25-
what else would you expect?

New training and medical procedures for the players to PREVENT injuries and when they occur have the best advice on this planet .
You have said it " younger bodies will inevitably be more susceptible to injury " ...
So lets get the best experts in to advise our coaches and medical people .
Too many players have" gone down " with injury and the training and or recovery is in doubt for all of them.
The younger bodies cant take what the seniors can so we need advise for them as well as all the players etc .
