Mentioned a few times about some disgruntled bombers about the selection of Skipworth in the senior team recently.
Is there an accurate story? Or is it just fans making up conflict about selecting a mature ager?
FWIW - I thought he was very solid last week and will help the development of your running players like Dempsey, which is why I was amazed at the rumours

Most likely a load of bullshit journalist have made up to sell papers. If the players are upset (which i highly doubt) well then they would have to suck it up as skipworth was one of our best last week and during the pre season. He earned his spot against port and has repaid the coaches faith so far.

It's total bullshit, he was back pedaling on SEN this morning. He even admitted he was wrong.

Only journos who aired this are F Smith (black and red chip on shoulder) and Hutchy (has been known to publish unfounded rumours) I think.
No doubt it'll stick around like a bad smell. I haven't put too much weight on it

I can tell you that it is absolutly total bullshit.
Patrick Smiths source in the footy comunity was a former employee of the club who was shown the door.
Zero credability.
Skippy has more than shown he is worth the pick for sure.
I'm behind him 100%!

You don't need a source to know that it's total crap. I watched your first nab cup (maybe second) Skipworth kicked a goal or did something notable and almost every bomber player went over to him...
