Haven't seen the game, only the result...

Lloydy was noticeably absent from the score sheet though. With the obvious exception, what's not happening?

He had 3 behinds.

Aside from the misses, did he play well?

Great first Quarter efforts.

IMO, in the first half he did. Didn't do that well in the 3rd. In the 4th where he had space to work, was pretty good.

Not a great game from Lloyd, but a good game.

To have 11 goal kickers & not rely on Lloyd like we have alot in the past is a good sign. Lloyd playing alot up the ground & then drift back into the forward 50 would make his opponent uncomfortable.

Took a good mark 25 meters out from Fremantle's goal.

Was better than the week before and did several good things around the ground but his lack of dominates is a good sign but also a sign that no one really dominated.

Worked hard all day. He is sacraficing his own game for the development of this team so I would stop looking into the stats. That said, I can see him playing a blinder in the near future.:thumbsu:

yeah I agree with bomber69, i'm putting money on next weekend or Anzac Day for Lloydy/Lucas to come out and destroy the other team.

Lloydy is just badly down on confidence, once he kicks a couple WATCH OUT!!!! mind you I think he did a few good things today but unless you were at the game they would've gone unnoticed

Thought he was close to B.O.G. in the first, which was pivotal considering how we conceded early towards the end of the nab cup and last week and cost us badly playing catch up. Think he puts too much emphasis on himself scoring (ie. his frantic/rushed efforts in the last), his game is much better when he brings others into the game.

Played ok. Just could not put one through for a goal.

Any chance for Neagle this week Ant?

I read your report about him, what do you think is going on?

Fitness or mental issues?

I thought he played ok. Would of had around 15 touches which is servicible. Hopefully we'll see him kick a couple this week.

People love to write off the champsions of the game, but he started slowly last year and really had a purple patch in the middle of the year.

His game isn't all coming together at the moment and he still hasn't been played in a position where he is going to kick 5 goals a game.

He kicked 3 behinds, which on a better day might have been 2.1 and he is still moving ok, which is evident when he dropped the mark in the last quarter only to pick up the ball outrun his opponent and hit Hayden Skipworth on the chest.

He won't be dropped and it would be foolish to say he's past it.

First time Lloyd's gone goalless in consecutive matches. He's usually a good starter, so the warning signs are there. Not writing him off just yet though.

He loves kicking bags against Carlton, so we'll see how he goes this week. I think they may bring in O'Hailpin or Austin (don't rate either) to play at FB. If Lloyd plays FF for the majority of the game on one of those two and does nothing again... well, that will be worrying.

I thought he played pretty well tbh. He wen't back a bit too and took a good mark in our defensive 50.

On another day he probably would have kicked 3.0 instead of 0.3.
