That's the best I could come up with. McViegh for some reason just wasn't with it all night, our rucks didn't do much. Got the ball up foward enough, but stuffed around way too much, blues players were everywhere and were able to run up the ground freely and score the points.

Frankly, no one else on the ground looked like they gave a crap. Including McVeigh, who was so promising the last two weeks.

And, Scott Lucas gets my vote for the player most needing a week back in the 2nds.
I thought McVeigh did pretty well compared to some others.

Did McVeigh tag Camporeale? Did anyone notice? I remember that McVeigh was changing his role during the pre-season to become a run with, tagging type player. Camporeale only had 19 possessions, which is well below his average, so if McVeigh was running with him he did a great job. Can anyone confirm who was on Camporeale?

Yes he was on camporale, and he got a bath. Even though his stats weren't huge, what he did with them were. It was a learning experience for McViegh.

shit- thats an excellent idea shinners- perhaps we should add extra votes for clocking anyone from Carlton, Collingwood or West Coast or David Schwartz (for his sooky comments in the pre-season RE the GF.

And you could add bonus points if:
1. Coach of Collingwood, Carlton, Richmond, Melbourne, or any of the interstate clubs spits the dummy during the press conference.
2. President of above clubs spits the dummy during the following week's presidential lunch.
3. Extra points if David Schwarz gets suspended.
4. Extra points for every Melbourne fan that posts on the board how everyone is being so unfair on David Schwarz.
5. Same goes for Peter Matera.
6. 100 bonus points if the full forward gets a free kick by pointing out to the umpire that Steve Silvagni is holding onto him (unlikely that the blind bastards will ever give a free against the pretend full back of the century, hence 100 bonus point....come to think of it, make it 1,000 bonus points and a tatts ticket).
7. An extra point for every Eagles fan that posts on bigfooty to complain that we don't pay their bunch of fancy dan prima donnas enough respect.
